Location Description

The Juncos municipality covers an area of 26.6 square miles and is bordered by Gurabo, Carolina
and Canóvanas municipalities to its north, by Las Piedras and San Lorenzo municipalities to its
south, by Las Piedras Municipality to its east, and by the Gurabo and San Lorenzo municipalities to
its west. Its population is spread over 10 wards and, as per the US Census Bureau July 2019
estimate, its population is of 38,155 inhabitants, an increase of 1.1% from the 2018 estimate of
37,723 inhabitants, but a decrease of 5.3% when compared to the population of 40,290 in 2010.
