This state of the art facility built in 2011 features the latest technology in agriculture packing and chilling and is currently used for Blueberries, a major crop in this part of Florida. The facility also has the capacity and ability to be used for other crops or produce requiring chilling or cold storage. Situated on 4.72 acres just off US Highway 301 and 15 minutes East of Gainesville, the facility features a 11,000 sq. ft. chilling room, 20 x 30 freezer, seven loading docks (3 Distribution, 2 Receiving, 1 Roll-up for small trucks, one material) with trailer sealing system. There are two complete packing lines with grading tables, dump stations, conveyors, plus a back-up packing line. Cooling is provided with 16-3 phase power cooling units to deliver the appropriate temperature. Additional amenities include commercial air compressor system, 20 camera security monitoring system, pallet jacks, large employee break room, 18 ft ceiling and more.
