The nursery features a GREAT location. It is situated in northern Manatee County just off of US 301 and only minutes from I-75 and I-275. This location allows easy access to all of the west coast of Florida and the major airports in Tampa and Bradenton-Sarasota. The main access point is on Erie Road, a few blocks off of US-301. There is a second entrance on Martha Road that is primarily used for shipments.

The site is an estimated 50 acres that was previously used as a rooting facility. Product lines consisted of rooted garden and potted mums, annuals, perennials, tropical hibiscus, mandevilla, roses and poinsettias. Currently, hot peppers, cucumbers and tomatoes are being produced in the greenhouses.

The property is served by public electric from Florida Power and natural gas from TECO. The irrigation comes primarily from a 1/2 acre unlined pond that captures rainwater and is supplemented by a permitted well when needed. All of the water is treated before it’s sent to the irrigation systems. The well is permitted for 95,000 gallons per day.
