With over 48 years of hands on experience in residential and commercial real estate Harold Huggins has been honored by his peers with the Realtor of the Year Award, Life Time Achievement Award from the local CPM chapter along with numerous other professional and civic awards. He is a past president of the IREM West-Central Chapter 92; past president of the Montgomery County Association of REALTORS; past president of the Maryland Association of REALTORS; 2002 RVP of the National Association of REALTORS. He is currently the chairman of the Real Property Operations committee of the Maryland Association of REALTORS which manages the MAR headquarters buildings. He served on the NAR real property operations committee in 2006 when the new DC building [first green building in DC] was built and the Chicago headquarters building's new facade was designed. He is currently chairman of NAR's real property operations committee which oversees the management and leasing of both buildings.
