A. WALTER (“WALLY”) TEMPLE, JR.
A. Walter “Wally” Temple, Jr.Mr. Temple has over 39 years of real estate development, construction, brokerage, and property management experience. Prior to founding NewPoint Properties, Inc., a real estate brokerage and development services firm, he was responsible for the development, marketing and management of a $200 million real estate portfolio for a privately held real estate development and agribusiness firm in Orlando, Florida, consisting of retail, office, industrial, and residential land assets. Prior to that, as a principal of The Suncraft Group, he developed, constructed and marketed luxury residential homes, villas, and garden office buildings in some of Central Florida’s most prestigious communities. As a division president for American Pacific Corporation, he developed the 3000-acre Sabal Point master planned community, which included 2400 residential units and an 18-hole championship golf course with country club facilities. During his service as a managing partner for Epoch Properties, Mr. Temple developed five multifamily communities consisting of over 1000 rental apartment units. His career began as an executive with the Graham Companies, developers of the award winning new town of Miami Lakes, Florida. Mr. Temple earned a BS degree in Engineering from West Point, and then served five years as an Army officer, including a decorated combat tour in Vietnam. He then earned an MBA degree from the Wharton Graduate School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. He is licensed in the State of Florida as a real estate broker, with the CCIM designation, and as a general contractor.
