James Barton has over 25 years of experience that includes office/industrial leasing and corporate tenant representation. James has served many leading institutional owners and corporate tenants in the Florida market including: Florida Office Property Company, Texas Teachers Retirement System and The Hartford. To date, his total leasing efforts in representing both property owners and tenants has exceeded over 5 million square feet. James brings this totality of experience to local, national and international clients. Recent corporate transactions include: L-3 Communications Corporation - 85,000 SF Office/Warehouse in Orlando, Florida, L-3 Services Inc. - 30,000 SF Office/Warehouse Melbourne, Florida and Banco Popular, NA - 12,000 SF office/retail banking in Downtown Orlando. James has been recognized multiple times over the years by the Central Florida Commercial Real Estate Society as one of Orlando?s Top Office Producers in 1996, 1997, 2000, 2001. He was recognized as a top producer for Galbreath Select 1996 and the Jones Lang LaSalle Club 2001 for overall production. In addition, James has served on the Board of the Downtown Orlando Partnership for several years and chaired, organized, sponsorship funding and marketing of several other major community entertainment events.
