Chris first developed a passion for real estate early in life, obtaining his real estate license at age 19, while he was in college. Since that time, he has been active in the real estate industry as an advisor, attorney, investor and builder. He holds his Florida and Tennessee Real Estate Broker’s license and Florida and Tennessee General Contractor’s license.

His practice is focused on healthcare real estate investments, medical office investments sales and leasing, and new developments. He has represented multiple health systems, healthcare REITS, medical office building owners, investors, landlords and tenants on a local, regional, and national level. As a medical real estate advisor and broker to health systems and healthcare providers, he provides landlord representation and tenant representation aimed at creating the most effective results for his clients and in compliance with regulatory healthcare statutes. He advises his client owners and investors of single-tenant and multi-tenant medical buildings, healthcare providers and medical practice groups on healthcare real estate acquisitions, dispositions, site selection, development and §1031 tax-deferred exchange strategies in coordination with preferred healthcare real estate-focused accountants, attorneys and lenders.

Chris earned his B.S. from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, and his J.D. from The Nashville School of Law. For more than two decades, Chris has been active in his community, volunteering in several charitable organizations and coaching his children’s baseball, softball, football and soccer teams. He is an active volunteer and mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters, where he also has served for several years on the Board of Directors. For more than 21 years, he has served his country in the U.S. Navy, and currently serves as Commander in the United States Navy Reserve. He is a member of both SIOR and CCIM, the Chamber of Commerce, and is an active member of the Chamber’s Military Affairs Committee (MAC), which focuses on building relationships between the civilian and military community. Chris and his wife have three children and four grandchildren.
