Blackstone Significant Transaction Experience:
Acquired 1,200-room hotel in San Francisco for $250 million from a limited partnership.
Purchased $60 million office building in downtown San Francisco from a Real Estate Opportunity Fund.
Acquired $200 million office building in the Boston CBD from a pension fund Advisor.
Lazard Significant Transaction Experience:
Advised a publicly held $1.3+ billion multi-family REIT in its sale to a management-led private partnership.
Provided strategic advice and valuation work for a private $2 billion northern California office opportunity fund, including analysis of GP and investor returns in its merger with a public REIT.
Sold portion of privately held partnership interest for $730 million in cash and convertible debentures; structured seller's retained interest in portfolio of six trophy office assets.
Advised on the valuation and sale of four regional malls for $500 million.
Performed valuation analysis on major land holding company in Florida for client looking to maximize value of majority shareholder stake.
