Tom spent over 25 years investigating and researching legal matters as a private investigator. Investigating a multitude of cases at Federal, State, county and local levels, researching matters on all levels utilizing data bases, court house records and Federal agency files. Interaction with government agencies including F.B.I., U.S. Customs, D.E.A., A.T.F., etc. has provided a wealth of knowledge in dealing with governmental regulations.
While certified as an Architectural Draftsman he also received experience as a draftsman at a structural engineering firm, oil field tool manufacturer and a stainless-steel fabricator. Experience was obtained in placement and design of commercial kitchen ventilators for large hotel chains while working for the stainless-steel fabrication company. He also designed and built a bay home near the Gulf of Mexico for a family friend.
Tom is a native Texan, and Houstonian, with one son employed in the construction industry in the Houston area. Tom moved to the Austin area over 16 years ago and is familiar with Austin having spent time here in the 70’s while President of the Texas Association of licensed Investigators. Austin was also where Tom took his open water dive to complete his scuba diving course.
He has over 18 years of experience in real estate with 11 years in commercial real estate operating Capitol Area Commercial. After forming, CAC Real Estate, Inc., to handle residential real estate the focus returned to handling commercial real estate. Tom is a member of the Commercial Investment Brokers Network, Central Texas Commercial Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, Texas Association of Realtors and The Austin Board of Realtors.
