The Maken Group, Inc. was founded by Mr. Sonny Maken, CCIM. Mr. Maken serves as the President and the Broker of Record for the firm. Mr. Maken graduated from Georgetown University in Washington DC with a degree in International Economics and a concentration in International Finance and Commerce. In addition to being a CCIM, Mr. Maken is a member of the Florida Business Brokers Association, member of the National Association of Realtors, Florida Association of Realtors and the Georgetown Club of Miami. He also serves on the Georgetown Alumni Interview Panel. Mr. Maken also sits on the Board of Directors of the Society of Commercial Realtors of Greater Ft. Lauderdale. Known for his expertise in Hospitality and Commercial brokerage, Mr. Maken is frequently quoted in the Palm Beach Post and the South Florida Sun Sentinel newspapers. Mr. Maken has also been featured in the 2007, 2008 edition of Marquis Who's Who in America and 2008 Edition of Who's Who in the World.
